Middlesbrough-based modular data centre infrastructure and critical power specialist Durata Global is proud of its continued and strengthened partnership with Thornaby FC.
It is a relationship that has evolved from shirt sponsorship to a lead role in the club’s remarkable revival in recent years, with ambitions rising.
The bond between the two organisations on Teesside was forged during a period of significant transition.
Owners of Durata, John and Alison McGee, were long-standing supporters and sponsors of the Thornaby FC women’s team before stepping into the breach during the summer of 2024 after many members of the previous board departed following a period of uncertainty.
The McGees stepped forward to ensure the club’s survival, bringing with them the same precision and dedication they apply to their global business operations.
For Alison, who serves as the Thornaby FC chief executive alongside her role as Durata’s COO, the connection is personal.
