Koby Erratt-Thompson joins on a permanent deal

Thornaby FC are pleased to announce that full-back Koby Erratt-Thompson has joined the club on a permanent basis following a successful two-month loan spell from Bishop Auckland.

Co-Managers Craig Skelton and Simon Kasonali expressed their delight at securing Koby’s services:
“Since our arrival, Koby has been a genuine breath of fresh air. He is technically excellent, and his attitude and desire to win are exceptional. We are very pleased to welcome him to the club on a permanent basis.”

Koby brings with him valuable experience from a variety of competitive environments. Between the ages of 16 and 18, he was a scholar with Chesterfield FC, where he continued his development within a professional academy structure. During his second year, he gained senior experience with a loan move to Ilkeston Town FC, who later loaned him to Eastwood Town. His performances at Eastwood earned him a recall to Ilkeston, where he progressed into the starting eleven. He has also previously represented Newark.

The full-back joined Bishop Auckland in November 2023 before moving to Thornaby on loan, where his consistency, commitment, and positive influence within the squad made a strong impression.

Thornaby FC are delighted to welcome Koby back to the club and look forward to his continued contribution throughout the remainder of the season.
