Thornaby FC Men and Ladies are pleased to confirm a new signing each.
Eve Gatens joins from fellow NERWFL Premier side South Shields. She started the season strong picking up 4 goal contributions so far. During her time at South Shields, she consistently showcased her attacking ability, becoming a key contributor to their forward line in all aspects of the game.
Director of Football, Andy Campbell said on Eve “She is a player who has scored numerous goals throughout her time playing for South Shields & we are all looking forward to seeing Eve score goals in blue.”
Thornaby FC Men’s team are also pleased to welcome McCorie Carmichael to the squad from Redcar Town.
Having played under management duo Craig Skelton and Simon Kasonali before, McCorie is no stranger to the Thornaby bosses and will be hoping to hit the ground running against Kendal Town next week, narrowly missing out on facing West Allotment Celtic tonight.
The forward has been in fine form for Northern League Two leaders, scoring 6 and assisting 5.
